📐 Formula
Rolls Needed = (Total Strips ÷ Strips per Roll) × (1 + Extra%)💡 How It Works
- •Wallpaper is hung vertically, so we calculate strips needed by dividing room perimeter by roll width.
- •Strips per roll = Roll Length ÷ (Ceiling Height + Pattern Repeat)
- •Patterned wallpaper requires extra material for pattern matching on each strip.
- •Korean/European standard roll: 53cm × 10m. US standard: 68.6cm × 10m (27" × 33ft).
- •Standard door area is about 1.8m² (20 sq ft), window about 1.5m² (16 sq ft).
- •10% extra is recommended for cutting waste, mistakes, and future repairs.
